Windingbrook RC Club in Rocky Hill CT is giant scale friendly, but we do have a db noise restriction and no ripping of the prop.   Field is a turf farm.  Depending upon farm work, we have 3 flying fields to choose from.   Must fly with a spotter.   Interested in joining, visit our webpage. wbrcflyingclub.org

Amazing the first 3 posts were from Southern NH Flying Eagles officers TIm, Gary and I. Yeah, I love my local club and we also have a extremely active Facebook page too!

Sorry about the "anonymous"!  Learning curve.  I should have signed in, was on my phone.

    Repeat-

In the works Gary. We will be asking clubs this season to re-evaluate their "interests and desires disciplines". AMA is not "forcing" any clubs to be "all inclusive" although that's ideal for growth. What we do want is to know what clubs want and more importantly don't want so we don't send unsuspecting innocent new modelers your way only to be turned away. No one should ever be summarily turned away. If they show up with a discipline that the club doesn't welcome steer them back to us or to other clubs you know of.  Just saying "we don't fly that here" or similar is extremely negative and leaves a bad taste in anyone's mouth. Not exactly a "Community" attitude in a Community Based Organization. You'll be hearing more about this.

I will start a Topic on this very subject. Thanks for the reminder.

Maybe we post clubs that are giant scale friendly? Some are too small, some have unreasonable sound restrictions, others are very welcoming to big gassers.
